My brother & his girlfriend are amazing! They’re earthy, nature-loving and definitely do-it-yourselfers! They enjoy playing board games, knitting, biking, gardening and so much more. Their personalities & relationship have inspired this post.
All of my bits of inspiration for this post come from Ruffled Blog. No surprise there! I love their wedding blog! The photos and the stories about the couples always makes my happy.
The first set of inspiration is Kathy & Adam’s DIY Wedding featured on Ruffled Blog. I adore the DIY theme and their attention to detail! Kathy also knitted her own wedding dress!! Can you believe it!? I don’t know if my brother’s girlfriend plans on doing something similar but she definitely could if she wanted to. She’s so talented. And the micro-brewed beer! My bro would love that!
The second bit of inspiration comes from Laura & Tyler’s Earthy Vintage Wedding featured on Ruffled Blog. Their vintage & eclectic wedding was adorable! The part that reminded me most of my brother & his gal was the bike! I loved the cute tandem bicycle! Very fun!
The 3rd & final set of inspiration (at lease for now!) comes from Taryn & Owen’s Fun Museum Wedding featured on Ruffled Blog. I loved the style of this fun couple’s wedding! The colors, the signature cocktail, the museum setting! But the addition of the Scrabble board game took the cake! (The wedding cake, of course!) I mean, how adorable is that!? My brother & his girlfriend love Scrabble!
I hope my brother doesn’t mind that his little sister took it upon herself to find inspiration for their future nuptials…and then blog about it! I’m sure he doesn’t mind. And if he does, he can’t stay mad too long at the person he used to play “Time Machine” with in our closets!
